Since its creation in 2007, the Lexus performance division has built some of the most dynamic vehicles on the road today. “F” is the progeny of a dedicated resolve to create vehicles that are the epitome of mind-blowing style and high-octane performance. While Lexus has a long history of sports car racing, with “F” we’re taking it to a new level.

One of F team’s first challenges: to develop a car that extended far beyond a high-revving engine or impressive aerodynamics, a car that would stir all five senses. Some might say they over delivered!

After nearly 10 years of research, development and testing at challenging world-class tracks like Fuji and Germany’s Nürburgring, the F division presented Lexus’s first supercar - the LFA.

After nearly 10 years of research, development and testing at challenging world-class tracks like Fuji and Germany’s Nürburgring, the F division presented Lexus’s first supercar - the LFA.

With a 4.8-litre V10 engine that rockets it from 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in just 3.7 seconds, and a lightning-quick six-speed Automated Sequential Gearbox (ASG), LFA provides the ultimate driving experience.

Featuring a unique Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic body for exceptional rigidity and lightweight construction, LFA is both powerful and balanced. Its Electric Power Steering delivers exceptional responsiveness.

LFA is peerless beauty, reflected in every angle and curve. The L-finesse inspired exterior is sleek, athletic and muscular. The driver-centric two-seater cabin is painstakingly perfected in every way, and incorporates innovations such as the world's first shoulder belt airbag, to reduce secondary injuries from ultra-speed collisions.

500 LFAs were produced, by hand, between December 2010 and December 2012, each custom configured according to a vast array of options – from calipers to carpet colours. Each V10 LFA engine was hand-built by a single engineer, and bears his signature.
