  • We do not charge for downloading firmwares. Depending on your internet provider, charges for data usage may apply.

  • The update files range from 15 MB to 800 MB.

  • The download time can vary significantly depending on your internet connection, and file sizes vary significantly, so unfortunately it is difficult to provide a guideline. Please allow for significant download time on slower internet connections.

  • Most updates take about 10 minutes to install on the vehicle, but in some cases can take as long as 45 minutes. Please refer to the installation instructions for your application to confirm.

  • No, only 2014 MY and later models are supported.

  • Firmwares are only available for selected vehicles. Some models that are not suitable for firmware distribution online may have updates available through the dealer.

  • The "Firmware Version and Compare" instructions show how to do this. If you are heistant to download or have a slower internet connection, please review these instructions.

  • Some illustrations are easier to view if the instructions are printed in colour. Alternately, save the PDF and display it on a mobile device to review the instructions in colour.

  • A firmware update is different from an Enform update. The Enform update messages you see pop up on the display are for the Enform apps that operate on your multimedia system.

  • Firmware updates do not provide new features. As an example, it is not possible to add Enform by doing a firmware update.
